President

Hustings - 7.30pm on Monday 22nd February, in the bar.
Nominations - by 12 midnight on Friday 19th February

Please submit nominations by paper with the candidate clearly named and with the name and signature of both a proposer and seconder. Nominations should be left in Laura Mingers' pigeonhole (3rd year) no later than the deadline above.

Unsuccessful Presidential candidates will be given a chance to nominate themselves for a role on the Committee after the results of the Presidential Elections are announced.

Canvassing is allowed, but not in the bar area.

Committee

Hustings - 7.30pm on Wednesday 24th February, in the bar.
Nominations - by 12 midnight on Monday 22nd February (with exceptions for unsuccessful Presidential candidates)

Please submit nominations by paper with the candidate clearly named and with the name and signature of both a proposer and seconder. Nominations should be left in Laura Mingers pigeonhole (3rd year) no later than the deadline above.

The positions available are:
Vice President/Treasurer
Secretary
2nd Year/Bar Rep
3rd Year/Loans Rep
Welfare Officer
Academic and Access Officer
Women's Officer
Environmental Officer
Food Steward
External Officer
Communications Officer
Sports and Societies Rep
Ents President

Note that co-opted positions (currently Computer Officer, LBGT rep, Accommodation and International) are NOT up for election, but are instead chosen when the new committee begins in Easter term.

Certain roles have restrictions on candidates:

Women's Officer must be a woman
2nd Year Rep must be a 1st year at the time of elections (as must all those voting on the role)
3rd Year Rep must be a 2nd year at the time of elections (as must all those voting on the role)
