Updates

To all freshers coming to Queens’ this year, a big congratulations for making into one of the friendliest colleges! Read the Arriving sub-section to find out more about what to expect when you first arrive in Queens’ and the list of activities lined up! You should have received a load of things, including the JCR Queens’ Guide, iCUSU International Freshers’ Guide, parents' letters and many more. In case of an information overload, the important details are all highlighted in green, so pick out those things! If you need more information than what is already available, check out the Guides in the Useful Information sub-section!

For old timers, there is a sub-section on useful information for international students and a list of international restaurants serving delicious food, which is still under construction. Send me an email if you have any suggestions. So check back every so often for more updates!

If you have queries or issues or ideas about absolutely anything, feel free to contact me, your friendly-college international rep, at jcr-international@queens.cam.ac.uk. Looking forward to seeing everyone this coming October!

iCUSU International Freshers’ Guide

The iCUSU International Freshers’ Guide has been uploaded, please feel free to refer to it. There are some really important information in there. Download from the Useful Information section!

International Orientation!

Orientation is open to all international students who arrive early and are relatively bored. It is generally common for international freshers to arrive early (i.e. before 1 October) since more time is needed to settle in.

Cambridge University International Students Orientation, Friday 2nd October, is highly recommended! This half-day orientation will tell you almost everything you need to know to survive in Cambridge, and you’ll even get a really good map and some other goodies. Register here.

Cheers’
