Music at Queens' The sparkly new MagSoc committee is keen and ready to rejuvenate and expand music at Queens’, and wants you to get involved! Any new ideas or musicians are welcome, but we are particularly looking for: SOLOISTS: There are still opportunities available for soloists to perform a concerto in one of next year’s MagSoc concerts. RECITALISTS: MagSoc runs a recital series in chapel on Monday nights, and still has spaces available for performers who would like to fill a 30 minute recital slot. Don’t worry if that sounds like a long time - you’re welcome to pair up and share a recital with another performer (or more than one). ORCHESTRA: The MagSoc orchestra gets together for roughly 5 rehearsals at the end of each term before the termly concert - a perfect chance for good sight-readers to perform in a fun environment. COMMITTEE MEMBERS: There is space on the MagSoc committee for you if you are enthusiastic about music and committed to improving and expanding music at Queens’. Let us know your details and ideas! If you are interested in any of the above, email George Bryan (gb374) and let us know. There‘s no need to wait until next term - the sooner we know who is interested and what ideas they have the sooner we can start arranging great new opportunities for musicians at Queens’!
