Hi, I'm Ben, and I'm the computer officer for Queens' JCR.

My main jobs include:

• Working on this website to ensure it provides the best way for the committee to communicate with members of the college, both with short term news items, and permanent information and archives.
• Developing and supporting other systems run by the JCR, such as the Room Ballot and Guest Night booking system.
• Providing input regarding technical/computer matters on the JCR.

I am also happy to try to help you remedy emergency problems with your own computer. Emergencies only, please. You're welcome to find me (DD4), or call me, but it's best to email me with the problem and I will do my best to help you out!

The site itself provides some other services for members of the JCR:

• Table of faces - updated every year with photos and information about incoming freshers.
• Events listings - for finding out what's on in college. Listed on the right hand side. Anyone can add an event for a brief check before it's displayed.
• Buttery menus - useful if you want to know what's for lunch/dinner/formal.
• Rooms database - used for rooms survey and balloting.
