Womens’ Football

Ellen Davies – ed376

Queens’ women’s football team is made up of a friendly mix of girls from all sections of college – undergrads, postgrads and even a couple of fellows – and is both sociable and enjoyable. With one match a week, an indoor session and flexible training times, it is a great way to get some exercise and learn some new skills whilst getting to know people you may not otherwise have encountered. Off the pitch, we have socials with other teams, and the infamous “Birds vs Turds” match against the 3rd men’s team. Whether or not you’ve ever touched a football before, please do come and join us – anyone is welcome (provided they are female!) – so look out for us at the squash in Freshers’ Week and sign up.
