Mooting Society

Zulfiqar Ali za237

Mooting is an activity in which participants pretend to be in court in front of a judge. These contestants then present their case about a pre-set problem. In essence, it is a court room emulation, a mock trial if you will. This society will primarily target would-be barristers. However, it will also cater to those who simply wish to experience the thrill of being in a courtroom without choosing the bar. Sessions will be held once every two weeks. It would be great to get lots of volunteers and create a supportive and exciting, intellectually challenging atmosphere, so please get in touch.
