Mens’ Football

Alexander Knight & Ant Manning

QCAFC plays against other Cambridge College teams in both league and knock out competitions. Queens’ has three football teams and we’re always on the look-out for anyone of any level to get involved, whether you want high level competition or just a Sunday kick-about.

In recent years, Queens’ have won in Cuppers, the university wide knockout tournament and second oldest football
tournament in the world, as well as winning the annual inter-college 5 a side competition. Queens’ football keeps going from strength to strength with the first XI competing in the Second Division, just missing out on promotion. There is a strong second XI team in the Third Division following last year’s successful Fourth Division title win, along with a Final appearance in the second-tier cup. The Turds accommodate those players keen on breaking into the Second team, as well as players of any level. Training happens on a weekly basis, with matches usually played at the weekend.
