QCAFC plays against other Cambridge College teams in both league and knock out competitions. Queens’ has three football teams and we’re always on the look-out for anyone of any level to get involved, whether you want a Sunday kick-about or high level competition.
Having lost out in the Plate final last season, this year the First team won Cuppers, the university wide knockout tournament and second oldest football tournament in the world. The First team also put up a strong battle for promotion but just missed out by 1 point. The Seconds and the Turds (thirds) also played some strong football on the pitch, with the Turds gaining promotion from the bottom league, with some even stronger play off the pitch. Keep Wednesday afternoons as free as possible for training, and matches will usually be played at the weekend. If you want the occasional kick around just bring some boots!!
