Erasmus Society

Anoush Darabi  ad621@cam.ac.uk

Named after the Humanist scholar who called Queens’ home in the early 16th Century, the Erasmus Society is for anyone interested in all things historical. Each term we invite a number of the world’s most renowned historians to deliver evening talks on a whole host of subjects, from Julius Caesar to David Cameron. All college historians are automatically members of the society, but talks are open to all students of any other discipline. Drinks and nibbles are provided. We also organise other events, such as trips to see some of the finest historical sites and exhibitions Cambridge has to offer.

If you have any questions, or suggestions for speakers, please feel free to get in touch.
