This new society shall focus more on the art of debating and will encompass a much broader field, including prominent socio-economic problems. This is a much different agenda from any other society at Queens’. The aim is to spark interest in debating and to encourage more Queens’ students to participate in University-wide debates by providing support and building confidence.  To fulfill this aim, weekly sessions will be carried out which shall be devoted to explaining debating techniques and providing a platform for practicing what has been learned via actual debating. It would be great to have speakers, please get in touch!
