Bandwidth alerts

This is a reminder that usage of peer-sharing systems like iPlayer (not the streaming service), 4OD and BitTorrent are likely to result in high bandwidth usage and therefore fines from the college. Sign up to the alert system here

Room shopping

We encourage everyone to use Queens' Quarters to browse for rooms and mark which ones you're interested in. On the balloting day (this Sunday) you will be able to view which rooms you are interested in that are still available.

The Fitzpat and Reading Rooms for Exam Term

After much deliberation, and taking into account the views of the student body (as expressed in the online poll), the JCR have decided NOT to ask for the Fitzpatrick Hall to be used as a study space.

Central Heating in Easter Term

A number of you will have noticed that the Central Heating has been turned off (as of the 17th April). It is possible to have it switched back on again, but only on a whole building basis.

Undergraduate loans

Following from the Financial Office: Please could you inform students that if they are Home/EU status students they should be renewing their SLC support for 0809 now if they wish it to continue, and those that wish to continue or take out next year a loan for their tuition fees should be applying for the increased, revised rate.
